At Stio, we’re committed to getting your mountain-built gear to you as quickly and efficiently as possible. Here’s what you need to know about our shipping process:
Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.
Shipping Options
- Standard Shipping ($12.95): Delivered via DHL or FedEx within 10-15 business days after shipment
- Free Shipping (orders over $50): Delivered via EMS within 15-25 business days after shipment
Note: Delivery times may vary for international orders depending on customs processing.
Our Return Policy
We stand behind our mountain-built gear and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If your adventure equipment isn’t quite the right fit, we’ll help make it right.
Return Guidelines
- Returns must be initiated within 15 days of delivery
- Items must be unworn, unwashed with original tags attached
- All returns must be in original condition
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following items:
- Baselayers (worn next to skin)
- Gloves & Mittens
- Beanies
- Any final sale items marked as such
How to Return or Exchange
Follow these steps to initiate your return or exchange:

Submit Your Request
Email our adventure specialists at [email protected] with:- Subject line: “Return/Exchange Request – Order #[Your Order Number]”
- Your order number
- Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
- Reason for return
- For exchanges: specify replacement item details
- Receive Authorization
We’ll email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions within 2 business days. - Package Your Items
Securely pack your items in the original packaging if possible, including all tags. - Ship Your Return
Send your package to our returns center at:

Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days
- Your refund will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- You’ll receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed
Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 2-5 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
Exchanges
- Follow the same return process above
- In your initial email, specify the replacement item(s) you’d like
- We’ll process your exchange once we receive the original item(s)
- If the exchange item costs more, we’ll invoice you for the difference
- If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference
International Returns
For customers outside the U.S.:
- You are responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable customs fees
- Refunds will be issued in U.S. dollars
- Please allow additional time for international shipments to reach us
